Steve is responsible for development and management activities for Pinnacle Properties, LLC. He has over twenty years of marketing, development and management expertise in the real estate industry. Steve has been involved with transactions valued at over $350 million and development of more than $300 million. Steve has received the designation of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) and is active in the National NAIOP organization and Urban Land Institute. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he was a Certified Public Accountant specializing in construction and real estate finance. In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing basketball, boating on the lake, water skiing, scuba diving, playing volleyball, and traveling.

Doug is responsible for the marketing, leasing and pre-development activities for Pinnacle Properties, LLC. He has over fifteen years of real estate marketing and development experience in the Southeast region. Doug has been involved with transactions in the office, data, retail, and residential product totaling over $200 million. Doug is a graduate of the University of Georgia and an avid Dawg fan. He spends his fun time with his wife and three young children; he is a youth coach and enjoys traveling, kayaking, and fishing among other sporting activities.

Ken has been in the residential & commercial construction industry for 14 years. He has worked for Centex Corporation and most recently Myers & Chapman, Inc., a Charlotte-based General Contractor. As Director of Development, Ken is responsible for all of Pinnacle's development activity, working closely with clients from the design phase through the construction process. A graduate of Clemson University, Ken spends his free time with his wife and two daughters and enjoys outdoor adventures.

Kara maintains and oversees the day-to-day operations of Pinnacle Properties. Additionally, she is closely involved with the financial and legal aspects of current and upcoming projects. A native Charlottean and graduate of UNC Charlotte, Kara spent six years within both the legal and healthcare fields before joining Pinnacle. In her spare time, Kara enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Ed joined Pinnacle in 2006 with more than sixteen years of real estate experience managing residential, office, retail and industrial facilities for institutional owners and investors. His background includes the management and leasing for more than six (6) million square feet of investment property and construction management services for projects in excess of $30 million. A graduate of Central Connecticut, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, boating, golf and other outdoor activities.

Will is responsible for all day-to-day accounting activity at Pinnacle Properties as well as working extensively with all outside auditors and affiliated accounting groups. A graduate of Appalachian State University and avid Mountaineer fan, Will has been working in real estate accounting in the Charlotte market for more than ten years. His experience includes Big Six, construction, development, property management and sales and acquisitions. When Will is not working, he enjoys spending time in the mountains with his family.

Darrell joined Pinnacle in 2003 with a concentration in retail, office and mixed-use real estate developments. Darrell is a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a Business Finance Degree and has a background in management. He enjoys traveling and water sports. In 2006 Darrell was awarded the Deal-Makers Gold Award by the Commercial Board of Realtors in Charlotte.

A graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, Warren worked in the banking industry for thirteen years in Virginia and North Carolina. He has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1997, specializing in high end residential properties on and around Lake Norman, land sales throughout the region, and race shop sales and acquisitions with many well known NASCAR teams in the Southeast. Warren is a native of the Charlotte Area. He and his family are active in their church and spend their free time together at state-wide sporting events. Warren also enjoys water sports, golf, and travels to the North Carolina Mountains whenever possible.

Laura joined Pinnacle in 2006 to concentrate on the portfolio of retail and mixed-use projects. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, Laura has five years of experience in retail brokerage including leasing, tenant representation, and the disposition of surplus properties. In her free time Laura enjoys sports, outdoor activities and reading.

Prior to joining Pinnacle Properties, Chris worked in the architecture field focusing on retail, office, and mixed-use design projects. As part of our team he is responsible for helping manage Pinnacle’s myriad of projects throughout the design and construction phases. Chris’s background is in both English Literature and Architecture, with degrees from The University of Michigan. In his free time Chris enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with friends, cooking, reading, and going to the gym.

Jenny joined the team in 2006. She is responsible for the creation of marketing materials for all of Pinnacle’s projects. She also spends part of her time assisting with basic office administrative duties. Before coming to Pinnacle Properties, she spent two years in the residential construction business. Jenny has a degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University and has completed multiple marketing internships. In her free time she enjoys working out, reading, and working in black and white photography.

With more than twenty years experience in the accounting field (from multi-national corporations to family-owned businesses), Peggy brings her own distinctive style and flair to our accounting team. Quick with both a joke and a helping hand, Peggy works hard to make sure our customers and investors have the top-notch service that they deserve. If you’re ever in the office, stop and say hello to Peggy, you’ll be glad you did. Peggy enjoys spending time with her immediate family here in Charlotte, as well as her extended family in West Virginia and the Appalachian Mountains. Peggy also enjoys cooking, raising Dalmatians and the Thundering Herd football team.

Melissa joined Pinnacle Properties in early 2007 bringing over eight years experience in lease administration. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, she enjoys traveling and reading.

Ross directs the single tenant build-to-suit development initiatives for Pinnacle Properties, LLC. Prior to Joining Pinnacle Properties, LLC, Ross developed 30 projects throughout the United States for various national retailers, brokered in excess of 1500 acres in the Charlotte region, and represented national retailers in their acquisition efforts. Ross began his real estate career in 1988 upon his graduation from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is a Charlotte native and is active in his church and homeless ministries. When out of the office, Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children usually on the baseball field or at the gymnastics gym.

Maggie joined Pinnacle Properties, LLC as an assistant to the Development department in 2008. She has a degree from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in English Language and Literature. Maggie enjoys traveling, Gamecock football, and spending time with friends and family.

Chris specializes in office and investment properties for Pinnacle Properties, LLC. He came to Pinnacle with 10 years of commercial real estate brokerage experience in North and South Carolina. He is a graduate of Pfeiffer University and a lifelong Tar Heel and Panther fan. Chris enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family.
